Description

The course focuses on a relational approach to sex therapy. Students will explore theories and methods of interventions in relationship systems experiencing sex and intimacy problems. Socio-cultural and familial factors concerning sexual values and behaviors, along with biological and psychosexual disorders, will be investigated. We will discuss diversity in sexual functioning, behavior, sexual expression, and lifestyles. Students will explore their cultural and familial narratives of sexuality and its intersectionality in sex therapy.
