Description

This course provides overview of crime causation, the nature of criminal behavior, and societal response to crime focusing on “real world” problems and examples. Explanations of the basic concepts of law, crime, and crime measurement, as well as a more in-depth overview of freewill and choice theories, psychological theories, social structure theories, social process theories, developmental theories and conflict theories will be provided.
