Course Description
This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of psychopharmacology, which is the scientific study of the effects of drugs on the mind and behavior. This course covers the basics of pharmacology dynamics and principles followed by an application of these principles to specific mental health disorders. The content includes an overview of mental health disorders and the application of psychopharmacology for treatment of mental health disorders as well as ethical concerns of prescribing medication.
