Course Description
This course studies the influence of interest groups in urban and suburban areas who have a stake in the educational system. The course content focuses on the role of school administrators in developing a culturally responsive, diverse school community and school/home programs and the involvement of school and community personnel in partnerships with parents, the community and other stakeholders to further the educational aims of the community for all children. Eighteen hours of field experience required.
